Book: The No Biggie Bunch Trade-or-Treat Halloween
October 20, 2009

Just in time for Halloween, check out the latest title in a new book series for kids creatively coping with food allergies.

“The No Biggie Bunch Trade-or-Treat Halloween” offers a super-fun way to for kids to be engaged, included and safe while enjoying this childhood rite of passage.

The adventures of ‘The No Biggie Bunch' play out creative coping concepts and empower kids to use their imaginations to ease the social challenges of their food allergies.

'The No Biggie Bunch' is a bunch of kids with food allergies who are just like you. Meet the bunch - the kids with hobbies, talents and food allergies.

From left to right :
Natalie (not allergic), Eliot (allergic to eggs), Greta (allergic to gluten), Davis (allergic to dairy), Paige (allergic to peanuts) and Scotty (allergic to soy).

The neatest part? At the end of each book, the reader finds a story-related question to pose to the child that sparks imagination and invites discussion about how he or she can be prepared for a typical social situation involving food allergy safety.

To learn more or join the creatively coping conversation, visit their website at www.nobiggiebunch.com. Their book series may also be purchased online on their website or on Amazon.

A special thanks for the collaboration of the authors and creators of 'The No Biggie Bunch' Heather Mehra and Kerry McManama, and the illustrator Michael Kline.
