The International Conference on Food Allergies and Consumer Protection will take place in Montreal, Canada on February 4 - 5 2010.

The objectives of the Conference are:
- Provide up-to-date information on diagnosis and management of food allergy, food intolerance and other food hypersensitivities, and current strategies and techniques for the detection and control of allergens in foods.
- Inform food manufacturers, food distributors, health professionals and the related governmental agencies on the mandate and implications of the new food allergen labelling and consumer protection regulations in Canada and worldwide.
- Address challenges and strategies to improve the safety of the food supply and enhance « allergen-free » and « allergen-controlled » food offerings.
- Discuss emerging opportunities and risks for companies involved throughout the food supply chain in regards to allergic consumers, their families and friends.
The Conference will regroup the food companies, health professionals, governments, media and specialized organisations in food allergies and food intolerances.
