Product: Allergaroo
December 30, 2009

If you are looking for a new range of allergen-free products, look no further! We have recently sampled and enjoyed Allergaroo: ready-made dishes in microwaveable pouches.

This line of microwave meals is made from natural ingredients and is free from 8 of the most common allergen (egg, fish, gluten, shellfish, soy, peanut, tree nuts and wheat). Their products are recommended for people who have special dietary needs such as food allergies, food intolerances, gluten intolerances, Celiac Disease or autism.

Allergaroo dishes are available in three different flavours:

Chili Mac – elbow rice pasta with mild chili sauce and pinto beans

Spaghetti – rice spaghetti with tomato sauce

Spyglass Noodles – penne rice paste with tomato sauce

The preparation only takes few minutes: just heat directly from the pouch and enjoy! Their products are shelf-stable so you can carry them everywhere with you to provide safe and tasty food for your children. Our favorite pick was the Chili Mac with the filling pinto beans and the delicious mild chilli sauce – which was not too spicy.

Their pouches are very practical and convenient if you are travelling, visiting relatives or going to places where food allergies are present like restaurants, hotels or buffets. Also, their products are ideal for children at daycare, school, and birthday parties.

As mentioned on their website, their products can now be found in more than 1,000 select grocery stores throughout the United States, in addition to natural foods stores and specialty online retailers. For the complete listing or to order online, visit their website or look up at their store locator to find the nearest store near you that carry Allergaroo.
